Trio con Brio Copenhagen belongs unquestionably to the upper echelons of young chamber ensembles performing today, commanding an amazing range of timbres and tones.
Founded in Vienna in 1999, this piano trio first grabbed the attention of the music world with a sensational performance that took the highest prize at Germany's prestigious ARD-Munich Competition. Comprised of Korean sisters Soo-Jin Hong (violin) and Soo-Kyung Hong (cello) and Danish pianist Jens Elvekjaer, Trio con Brio Copenhagen received the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award -- one of the most coveted awards in chamber music.
